Managed Beekeeping & Documentation for AG Exemption

Professional hive placement, year-round management, and appraisal-ready documentation for East Texas landowners.

Installation slots are limited - reserve your window today. Appraisal districts make the final determination; CBC provides services and documentation, not legal or tax advice.

The Problem

Most landowners don't want to become beekeepers just to keep their ag exemption. You need consistent documentation and active hive management - without the learning curve.

DIY Beekeeping

Learning curve, equipment costs, liability risks, and time commitment-without guaranteed tax benefits.

Appraisal District Requirements

Complex documentation requirements, annual proof of agricultural activity, and rejection risks if records aren't perfect.

Documentation Risk

Investing time and money into a DIY approach, then struggling to assemble consistent documentation for appraisal district review.

CBC installs and manages the hives under contract and produces continuous, dated records that demonstrate active agricultural use. You get a clear, repeatable process and organized documentation suitable for appraisal district review - without taking on beekeeper responsibilities.

Questions About Our Service

Straight answers for landowners who want agricultural valuation without becoming beekeepers.

Can beekeeping qualify for ag exemption in Texas?
Yes. Beekeeping is recognized as a qualifying agricultural use under Texas Tax Code Section 23.51. We install managed hives, maintain them year-round, and deliver organized documentation to support your application.
What if the appraisal district asks for more evidence?
It can happen - requirements vary by district. If additional evidence is requested, we strengthen documentation going forward. Our records are designed to exceed common district expectations.
Do I need any beekeeping experience?
No. We own and manage the hives. Your role is providing property access and coordinating on pesticide use.
Are the hives actually placed on my property?
Yes. Hives are installed on your land and managed by CBC throughout the season. You get full documentation of every visit.
What happens if a hive dies?
We monitor colony health and make best-effort replacements to maintain contracted colony counts, subject to seasonal availability, weather, and supplier constraints.
