WHITE GLOVE BEEKEEPING SERVICE - WITHOUT THE STING

Turnkey Beekeeping Service for Agricultural Valuation

Professional hive management and documentation services that support agricultural valuation requirements for Texas landowners

Note: appraisal districts make the final determination; CBC provides services and documentation, not legal or tax advice.

The Problem

Agricultural valuation depends on meeting degree-of-intensity standards and producing consistent documentation. Most landowners don’t want to become beekeepers just to assemble records for an appraisal district.

DIY Beekeeping

Learning curve, equipment costs, liability risks, and time commitment-without guaranteed tax benefits.

Appraisal District Requirements

Complex documentation requirements, annual proof of agricultural activity, and rejection risks if records aren't perfect.

Documentation Risk

Investing time and money into a DIY approach, then struggling to assemble consistent documentation for appraisal district review.

CBC installs and manages the hives under contract and produces continuous, dated records that demonstrate active agricultural use. You get a clear, repeatable process and organized documentation suitable for appraisal district review - without taking on beekeeper responsibilities.

Questions About Our Service

Straight answers for landowners who want agricultural valuation without becoming beekeepers.

Can beekeeping support agricultural valuation (ag exemption) in Texas?
In Texas, beekeeping can qualify as an agricultural use within acreage and documentation constraints set by your appraisal district. We install and manage hives, then provide organized records to support your application. The appraisal district makes the final determination.
What if the appraisal district denies my application?
It can happen. Requirements and review standards vary by appraisal district and property history. If additional evidence is requested, we help strengthen documentation going forward. We cannot guarantee outcomes.
Do I need any beekeeping experience?
No. We own and manage the hives. Your role is providing access, coordinating on pesticides, and communicating property changes.
Are the hives actually placed on my property?
Yes. Hives are installed on your property and managed by CBC. Honey handling is defined in the agreement; we do not promise harvest volume.
What happens if a hive dies?
We maintain hive continuity and replace colonies within a seasonal window, subject to conditions like weather and pesticide exposure. Our service targets the hive counts in your agreement.
Do you need access to my property?
Yes. For operational reliability and colony welfare, we require 24-hour access (gate code/key/lockbox). We coordinate visits when practical, but access cannot depend on same-day availability.
